Hemendra Nagin
Managing Partner
Mr. Hemendra Nagin is the Managing Partner for Sherani & Co.
He obtained his Bachelor of Laws Degree from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand in 1976. He was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New Zealand in 1977. In 1978 he was admitted to the Supreme Court of Fiji and in 1984 to the High Court of Victoria, Australia. He is also a commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public in Fiji.
Joining as an associate Barrister and Solicitor in 1978, he became a managing partner of the firm in 1981. Mr. Nagin is a successful Barrister and Solicitor in the Jurisdiction. Having practised in Fiji for over 40 years, Mr. Nagin comes with a wealth of knowledge in all areas of law. Financial institutions rely on Mr. Nagin’s expertise and legal advice and the firm serves on their Panel of Solicitors.
Mr. Nagin has also served as a Board Member for various organizations like Housing Authority [Board Member], the Reserve Bank of Fiji [Board Director], Transparency International and the Rotary Club of Suva. He is also the President of the Fiji Chapter of the World League for Freedom and Democracy, Suva and the Vice President of the Gujarat Education Society of Fiji.
Being an active Rotarian since 1985, he supports other Charities and Women Organizations nationwide.
